Standard engineering practice is imagine 2 although the ends should be formed round the nut to avoid movement

I had a 1.6 and then later a 2.8 injection. Lovely car. You could put it into 2nd at standstill, put your foot down and not have to change gear until you hit 60. It got nicked

That was the problem back then you could open many cars with a screwdriver.

I recall a story as a kid neighbour MK2 escort she was at the shopping centre, came back opened the car put shopping in the boot started up was reversing out. Only when she realises the ashtray was empty did she clock it was not her car!
