Mrs Halfacrem and I have a rare opportunity for a weekend without the kids next Month, as they are staying with my brother and Sister-In-Law in Farnborough :grin:
We're looking for a really nice proper Beer Pub (of course) which also does good food and has accommodation. Criteria..
Location: North Hampshire , Surrey/Hants or Berkshire/Hants Border as we'll be travelling to Farnborough the next day so don't want too far a drive.
Nice Country Location (preferably, but would consider a Town location if really good and parking is available)
Good Beer (goes without saying)
Good Food
A nice room for the night
We don't get to do this very often, so willing to splash out, but I'm not talking Michelin standard, if you know what I mean!
Any suggestions from personal experience would be much appreciated :thumb:
