M Moley Regular. Joined Mar 31, 2009 Messages 224 Reaction score 29 Dec 17, 2009 #2 Well 1.100 means you've got 42.75 ounces of sugar to the gallon or 270g to the litre. It means your wonderful little yeasty beasties have got plenty to go at, and should turn that into about 14% alcohol :
