A number of products have been recalled by supermarkets over food safety fears.

Alerts have been issued by the Food Standards Agency for a range of products - including Green Giant sweetcorn, lasagne, samosas and pepperoni.

The affected items are sold at stores including Asda, Tesco and Co-op.

Anyone who has bought any of the products should return them for a full refund.

Asda is recalling Amy’s Kitchen Gluten Free Vegetable Lasagne because the packs may contain metal shavings. The batch code affected is 30-K269.

Co-op is recalling its Co op In-store Bakery 4 Glazed Ring Doughnuts, which have a best before date of May 13.

General Mills has recalled Green Giant Original Sweetcorn because some seams may be faulty due to a packaging fault, which could make this product unsafe to eat. The affected items have batch codes of 293 1S1, 294 1S1 and 295 1S1.

Gotta say, due to the line of work I'm in, I'm already signed up to the FSA recalls list. Go on their website and you can also sign up for it.
