Still got a few bottles of my NEIPA so having one tonight. It's still nice, it's been in the bottle three months but the hop flavour is still quite vibrant and if anything it seems a little less sharply bitter than I remember which is nice. I may quality control my latest brew (oatmeal stout) later, but I don't have many spare bottles of that as most of it went into a PB and I've got it entered into a competition.

It's........ok. I'm pleased I chose some dehusked dark grains as it has a nice smoothness to it that I like in a stout. Little bit of roast and a little bit of chocolate in the flavour is decent. The mouthfeel is quite slick and it may be undercarbonated which would be a shame. Poured with absolutely no head, I don't know if this is an oats thing, a carbonation thing or a mash temperature thing (or a combination of these). I'm not a huge stout drinker and brewed this towards what I know I like. I've entered it in the Black Friday competition and suspect it may not score very well but ultimately I think I'll enjoy drinking it. (Edit: it's a sight better than what was originally in the glass obviously!)

Having a few of the last of my bulldog evil dog IPA. Must admit won't be sad it's gone, was ok. But have definitely had better

picked up this 330ml bottle of McGraths craft irish pale from B&M for 70P in the week to kick off my evening session, gotta say it is most excellent with a nice clean crisp citrus aroma and taste, only grabbed one which was my mistake, should have cleared the shelf of them:lol::thumb:

Followed them up with a Red Robin Rye IPA, a Brace DIPA and a Northern Cardinal NE IPA.

The Rye is phenomenal however sadly my last bottle.
The other two are goo but not the same league at all. The latter being over primed (my erroneous batch prime) and is rather sweet.

ive now moved on to a litre bottle of my homebrewed coopers Canadian blonde which I did with table sugar and golden syrup.its a pet quest of mine to prove you can make a well quaffable ale without added malt extract to the kit tin, this was dry hopped with 32 gram of amarillo and I aint got no complaints whatsoever at 6% and going down extremely well.cheers forumites:drink:

They do a red ale, think it is number 4 which is really nice too

I tried a first bottle today of my Smoked Porter bottled July 29th and exactly 3 months from pitching the yeast.

This is different, alright, with a full 1kg of smoked malt.
