I had to bottle yesterday as Im going on holiday today...also the wife wanted it out of the way.I had a taste and it didnt seem bad at all so I left it as it is. I will however brew this again with the pellets.
Im still relatavily new to this brewing lark so there is a lot of trial and error...
I have brewed Evil Dog I.P.A.
I am bottling it tomorrow morning. I have just remembered though that I havent added the hop pellets provided with the kit. I am now at work until late so cant add them now.

thanks
ive done an I.P.A. brewed for 2 weeks, carbonated for 2 weeks and cleared for another 2 weeks. Ive used the same brewing and bottling system as ive always done. problem is the beer is ridiculously frothy. Its impossible to pour properly and this is resulting in wastage and a cloudy pint. ive got...
I have brewed a Youngs American pale ale. As instructed I added the hop pellets to the brew 3 days before bottling.
Well yesterday I bottled the 2 week old brew and I am rather concerned.
Not only is the beer cloudier than a january weekend in newcastle , there appears to be particles floating...
This may be a stupid question....Why do I have to syphon the brew into a bottling bucket? Can i not just jug the brew straight into bottles? I havent got a bottling wand so last time I syphoned the brew into a large bucket with the priming solution.I then syphoned from the bucket into bottles...
Well the bottles are in the shed for a fortnight..last night curiosity got the better of me and I decided to try one..although it was a bit cloudy I was pleasantly suprised with the taste.
After two weeks in the wardrobe ive took the beer into the shed for another two weeks. It still looks flat but ive had a squeeze on the plastic bottles and they are pretty solid.Im guessing the carconation worked.
ive got 25 glass bottles and 20 coopers pets...will it make a difference that ive had them in the shed for 10 days before ive brought them back inside?
