    New brew

Due to circumstances beyond my control (I jumped in a plane and came to fuerteventura), the brew is now going to sit in secondary for 3 weeks. Is this going to be ok still to bottle?

    New brew

Bottling this tomorrow night, been in secondary for two weeks. Now, I'm usually a keg person but as this brew is for Xmas and i plan on taking it to various houses, I want to bottle it. Will there be enough yeast in it still to carbonate?

    Pale ale brew day

Didn't do it in the end, just put it in the fermentation fridge and left it to roll. Presuming I'll be left with a stronger, bigger tasting beer?

Anyone think I could just add water to top it up...? Already pitched yeast about 20 minutes ago!

    Pale ale brew day

Disappointed with this one! Aimed for 20l @ 1056, actually yielded 16L @ 1068. Not sure where I went wrong with this...

    Pale ale brew day

15 mins of the boil left, then steeping 10g of EKG. Cooled down to 21 and pitching. Then it'll be off into the FC for 5 days, off into a secondary for 7 days. Probably leave it for a little long in secondary

    Pale ale brew day

Not sure I've used it before, possibly in the stout I did at the beginning of the year? Wort looks darker than I thought it would be, too much roast? We'll see. Just bringing up to the boil.
