Hi guys, has anyone had any luck changing the tap that comes with the lindr to another tap like the intertap or nukatap? I like the idea of just changing the spout for different beer styles. Thanks in advance :)

i had a coopers hydrometer and it was giving me a reading that was 10 points lower than what it actually was. In water it was showing as 0.990. Id advise to check your hydrometer in water and see what its showing as, if its correct then yeah it could be an infection.

how about 1kg of wheat spraymalt instead of LME?

ive found that with coopers carb drops that around 4 weeks makes them fully carbed and after a week the beer is still a bit flat but it improves gradually up to the 4 week mark

gas is leeking from the tap now, im now wondering how i can go about tightening the tap or transferring it to a different keg or maybe even bottling it, so if i do decide to transfer it to another keg, do i re-prime it and if so how much sugar do i use? the same goes for bottling?

update, right the keg is definitely leeking gas, i can hear it coming out of the tap seal now .. im thinking about bottling it tomorrow, how would i go about doing that after 3 days in the keg?

it is holding pressure, i can't describe how i pressed down on it, it really just hit something and lowered a bit and it looks like it just opened the little rubber seal for a split second and released some co2and some beer

hey all, i recently (on friday) kegged a coopers ipa in my king keg and when i was moving it today i accidentally pressed down on the tap and some of the beer squirted out a bit but then it stopped. Is this normal if i happen to press down on the tap or should i open it and try and tighten it...

thanks for the link mate, there wasnt a coopers draught option but i added a lager and added 3lb and 11 ounces of that which is 1.7kg then added 1kg of corn sugar (dextrose) and 500g of light malt, it gives a OG of between 1.50-1.054

It was a 1.7kg tin, thanks for the help, although I've seen on YouTube people with 500g of malt and 500g of sugar and getting an og of around 1.040

i started a coopers draught kit on tuesday but my hydrometer was giving me false readings, i put 1kg of dextrose and 500g of spraymalt and it said my OG was 1.32, which can't be right. i since got a lend of my uncles hydrometer and its now fermented down to 1.008 .. if anyone could guesstimate...
