In a regular sink, what quantities of bleach to water am I looking at? Do they need to sit in sink or filled and shaken etc? Obviously a good rinse is a gimme.

Just started new coopers English bitter with 1kg spray malt, to 22l. Pitched yeast at 22C and had a OG reading of 1.041. Going to leave it betwee 17-20c. Fingers crossed I get a result this time.

Brewed a Wherry on Saturday Og 1.040, took a reading tonight a d it's down to 1.010 already. Good start?

Did only my second brew earlier today, a Woodfordes wherry. First gravity reading was 1.040, brewed to 23l but pitched yeast on the warmer side. Have started dropping the temperature. Noticed there is quite a lot of sediment at the bottom of FV already. Why and what would this be?

First time brewer, brewing Coopers wheat beer to 23l. Fermenting 13 days now between 18 and 22 C. Original gravity at around 1.040. Measured after 1 week, dropped to 1.020. Measured again today, may have slightly dropped to 1.018ish. Is this on course? Seems slow or am I just impatient? Do I...

Day 6 and ive just removed the Krausen collar. Im hoping that its all gone ok, good collar of gunk, smelling like a beer and not a lot of foam on top. What should the next step be? Planning on taking a reading tomorrow and then aiming to bottle maybe next weekend consistent reading permitting...

Just sterilising all eqpt in my bucket using sterilising tabs... do I rinse it all out or will it then become "unsterile"?

Hello guys. Gratefully recieved a diy kit for christmas including the coopers wheat beer. Can't wait to start brewing. Planning on sterilising everything tonight and start brewing tomorrow. Look forward to picking some of the brains on here for help and inspiration.
