Hi all great forum you have here,

Been brewing kits for six months now and have just jumped up to doing BIAB,
Have a amarillo single hop which went a bit crazy conditioning and a ruby mild bubbling along nicely in the kitchen that I have high hopes for.

Hope you don't mind the odd rookie question being asked!

Cheers
John

No its been bottled for a week now.
It all went a bit pear shaped when I added 500g of extra malt because BIAB is meant to rubbish at getting a good OG. I ended up with 1070! which I got down to 1060 by adding boiled water. Then 3 days latter I was wondering where one of my hop bags was?? Turns out id left the flame out hop bag in the FV that I cooled the wort in. So I had to fish that out of the crusty fermenting wort crust.
It will be a miracle if turns out good, but here's to hoping.

Nice one thanks for the offer, I'm just above Thatcham so pretty close.
likewise if you need a bit of malt quickly or something id be happy to help.
I go to reading for most bits and Aldershot or post for what he hasn't got. Anywhere else local you could recommend?

I mainly use Aldershot in addition to the online companies.
The Malt Miller is in Swindon and I believe you can pick stuff up from there rather than have it posted.
