oooops lol i see i was thinking of 30ltr in a 60ltr maybe not or with a megga blow off pipe

hi all can some body reduce this so it can fit in to a 30 ltr mash tun plzzzzzzzzzzzzz :pray: :pray: :pray: :pray:

I relistened to it and Im realizing that I was a little confused. They were talking about using beano for alpha amalase in the FV.

Beano will control gasses, but Im not sure it controlls the gasses that make krausen. :lol:

They are my temps for strike water so mash in goes in at 76.4c and by the time the grain is in it ends up at 67c
So simply mash at 67c
 
sweet so if 16.59 ltr in for 120 mins
mash out 10 mins how many ltr for that

i think i am right you use notty yeast for this :thumb:

sweet of work next week so should do my first brew :shock: :shock:
 
Is it a coincidence that I have all the ingredients to make the 20l version? Me thinks not!

I used nottingham in my RIS - didn`t add any new yeast when I primed the botles and it carbonated fine :thumb: Only another 10months untill its two years old :cheers:

I can't remember what it was like into the boiler but don't forget your boiling for 2 hrs so it's going to reduce.
 
sorted now like durrrrrrrrrrrrrr brain i did grain bill wrong :oops:

all done now still brown no where near black like alemans effin oatmeal stout was well dark when i was at your place your irs was well dark :wha: :wha:
