Can you put too much finnings in?

I needed to clear a wash quickly to free up a demijohn. so on Sunday I used a 2 part wilko wine finning. I put part A in correctly proportioned. But being in a rush a bit later I stupidly put the whole part B in without thinking. The wash has cleared 2/3rds of the way down but the bottom part looks milky. Have I ruined my wash or should I leave it a few more days?
