Just a shame none of the 27 million plus wasn't spent on providing accommodation, expenses etc for the people that made it such a success, the Volunteers.
Boyle and party I bet pocketed a goodly sum they will not have done it for free.

Oh come on, you cant say that. You dont know if Boyle got paid or how much, same as Coe (exellent jobs all round).
Volunteers are exactly that, they did a excellent job, because they "volunteered". They wanted to do the job, not had to. (Same as the Armed Forces)
