Hi there
My first brew has been in the FV for 9 days and has bottomed out at 1006 (which it says on the instructions).
I plan to put into a secondary FV tomorrow in order to try and get a clearer beer (Scottish Heavy).
Should I now let my brew (still in the primary) cool down before transferring and once in the secondary FV, do I leave that cool or with heat for 1 week before bottling.

Thanks for any advice given

I always just leave in the primary for 2 weeks then bottle or keg from there.i've never had a problem or an infection whether doing kits or ag brews. you can transfer to secondary and keep it at a lower temp to get it off the yeast and clear, its up to yourself, the less you mess about with your beer the less chance of infection.

Thanks for the info
I think I will just keep it in the primary for 2 weeks then bottle

Much appreciated :thumb:
