A couple of years ago I made a couple of home brews which worked well and with the cost of living rises I realised I needed to get back into it. I was looking for various advise and this forum kept popping up so I joined as I need some advise :)

General advice - keep a close eye on things if you're doing this as a cost saving exercise. I've enough bits of shiny, new equipment in the spare room that I'll be old and grey before I see a saving (currently middle aged and only slightly grey).

Already good advice there. Don't get carried away with the kit 🤣

But if you consider 1 brew is 40 bottles. That is £80 (£70 if you take off the ingredients). So it does pay back quite quick....or you drink more, cos its there. 🤣🤣

Be careful out there.
