Hi I always buy the glycerine for my wows at Asda...£0.99p for 38ml, I just bought from boots a bottle for £1.29 for 200ml ! The difference being the spelling of the boots one is glycerin ..no "e" on the end, so my question is it the same stuff and can I use it in my wine, it looks and smells the same and the label says I can use it for sore throats, anyone got an opinion? cheers. Jim

Both glycerin and glycerine are the same chemical compound, one is an American spelling and the other is English (AFAIK)

Thanks I will use both with confidence, just for record I had a spoonful of both and the Asda one definitely tasted sweeter
