I have a recipe for banana wine which requires 250g of grape concentrate. As I cannot get to the brew shop could I replace this with ordinary grape juice from the supermarket and if so how much would I need.
I collected a few banana wine recipes before diving in, one used concentrate, one used white grape juice, one used sultanas.
I used purple grape juice...
However juice for drinking will have less tannin than concentrate intended for winemaking, so add a bit if you have any powdered, or make some strong tea, or something.
