So I am new to using a Corny keg....

I kegged my beer and gave it 20psi for 3 days, following that I lowered pressure to 3psi for serving and all is good

However I have a party on Saturday and need to get the keg cool.

What I have done is crank the Temp back up to 20PSI for 1 day then fully disconnect so I can refridgerate for 48 hours.

I am hoping this will work out well.

I will lower pressure back to 3PSI on day of party for serving.

Is this ok to do????7

Please reassure me lol

It'll be fine  The purpose of force priming is to get the beer to the desired PSI faster than using the desired PSI, so you used 20PSI to get to 3PSI faster. After that period you leave the reg at 3PSI and the beer will settle to that level slowly, ie, if it's high the C02 will come out of the beer, if it's low the reg will put C02 into the beer. You've now put the beer at 20PSI in the fridge and it will absorb more C02 as colder beer will, so you will notice a pressure drop when you go to vent the keg. When you lower the keg back to 3PSI the first few pints may be a bit fizzy but it'll soon level off to 3PSI again :thumb:
