Bit of a bank holiday brew day happening. I normally bottle condition but have a couple of empty kegs.
My question is this: I have a bag of muntons enhancer sat doing nothing. Never brewed a recipe where sugar is needed so never used.

Can i, and more importantly should I, use this to prime the barrels? Will it work and are the results desirable?

Never yet used this and don't want any unwanted effects.

Thanks in advance.

Mason.

Spot on, thanks. On the packet it says use in place of ny sugar so thought as much.

As usual over worrying as I've not done it before.

Secondary question. The two kegs were eBay wins. Not king kegs but plastic pressure kegs.
They are currently set up just to use their own natural pressure. Should i switch the tops to the type that allow for co2 to be injected or will they be fine?

Filling these two kegs purely to see of I prefer it to bottling. Just chucking a couple of standards in, a wherry and a crusader.
