i want to make a lemonade.

how do i work out how much sugar i need for a given alcohol content?

i would be grateful for any tips and if anyone has a recipe handy i would like to take a look.

thanks.

In my brews I use normaly start off using about 400g of sugar per 5L that gives you roughly 4.7%

You require approx 17g of sugar for every %.litre of alcohol you want to make, but rememeber that this is only for adding sugar, if you add fruit juice or anything else the sugar in those will increase ur final percentage.

and no you cant have my lemonade recipe..... it was HORRID i wouldnt want anyone to suffer like I did
it was farr too lemony!
