Plastic tap on a DIY mash tun/boiler

So, I've got myself a 60l blue barrel and a couple of value kettles, with the intention of installing the elements into the bottom to make a boiler. I will then insulate it, so that, in conjunction with a bag I can use it as a mash tun and boiler. My question is this: is there any issue with fitting a plastic FV type tap for transferring to the FV, potentially with the heat of a boil?

Not sure, although for the cost I'd use a brass 15mm tank connector, a bit of 15mm copper tube and a 1/4 turn lever ball valve
