I've got a load of rhubarb in the freezer out of my uncle's garden from last year that needs using up (new fridge on the way soon). I've got a gallon of wine fermenting away in the cupboard which is fine, but we also like cider. So I was thinking of brewing up an apple/rhubarb mix of some sort. Don't have the equipment or inclination to be pressing a pile of apples yet, though I've had good results before with juice and a kit.

Is it worthwhile to just get a cider kit and chuck in some bashed-up rhubarb?
