I have bottled my lager but was wondering if there was a way of getting rid of the sediment or will it just stay at the bottom of the bottles or do you have to be careful when pouring,

i did see on a cooking program some one doing homemade cider they stored the bottle upside down then put the top of the bottle in dry ice capped the bottle and pop out popped the sediment. Silly question do any of you guys do that??

Nobody does - haha, wayyyy too much time for home brew cider. It's done for champagne too.

Just give it a few weeks and the sediment will compact nicely - pour it all out in one go and you should have clear beer. In future, try to bottle after fining - bright beer will have nearly no sediment.

I got a little carried away with it and just wanted in the bottle, so leave it longer in the fermenting bucket to clear abit first then bottle it with the addition of sugar and bobs my uncle so to speak, at the moment it looks like white sand i suppose at the bottom of my bottles.

thanks

pour carfully into another jug then from there dispense as normal into your favourite glass
