Thanks for the info. Any sanitation before putting the tea in the secondary? Boiling for 10 minutes? How about putting the tea into the keg while its carbonating for a week or so?

Does a hop tea give better results than traditional dry hop? Havin a little trouble getting a nice bright, fresh taste n aroma on my pale ales.

Thanks for the info. I'm just trying to avoid fetching water. I'd use my well water but theres so much iron in it, that if I don't run it thru the softener, the water turns rusty and cloudy when it gets heated up. I'm probably going to end up having to go get water from a spring. Its a bit of a...

Anyone know if you can get sodium levels down from water that's been through a softener? My level is 160 ppm. I think I got a handle on the rest of my water chemistry.
