A 30 litre batch of a clone of Ampersand's "On The Wing" today. It's a 4.5% NEPA & my local homebrew club are doing a "brew off" to see who gets closest to the original.
Grist is Golden Promise with some oats, wheat & dextrin & hops are Ekuanot, Amarillo, Citra & Chinook all at whirlpool so not...
I'm going to try & head there for a day as I'm fairly local. I went last year with a mate who knows Tom & Dani (LEP owners) so we wangled a camping ticket but he's since given up brewing & drinking altogether so no such luck this year.
It's a great event & the beer selection at the pub is...

Back in the saddle after an inadvertent 4 months hiatus. Bramling Cross ESB today, pushing the limit of my kit to get 30 litres so I can fill a corny & 2 X mini kegs to serve through my beer engine.
Hitting the numbers so far! thumb.
My Triple Bock is based on this recipe from Michael Tonsmeire - https://www.themadfermentationist.com/2009/05/wheat-triplebock_17.html?m=1
I didn't get up to that FG though & ended up with a 16 litre batch rather than the 20 litres I aimed for. The grain bill was too big for my kit to be honest...
