On the mince pie thing, She Who Must Be Obeyed came up with a decent plan, of soaking her mince in rum for a few days. The rum wasn't my sort of thing but went down well with guests. The mince pies were fantastic

I can use the other yeast packets from the other kits

I have aquired 3 of these I was going to do an exbeeriment with them. 1. Do it just as the kit 2. Change the yeast I have some Thames Valley 1275 Wyeast 3. Do the same as 2 but with some bottled spring water. Starting just after the festive season

Still quite young, a very palatable taste. But it's probably the last time I let my daughter help with the bottling by having her add the priming sugar. She does go from one extreme to the other.

I can honestly say I have not measured it,but I do get a few extra bottles than I would when I first started brewing and followed the instructions rigorously
