That's always been my problem! My bread always turned out like a brick! What did you do differently this time to make it light and fluffy?

I bought a good one a few years ago and have tried so many times to make a nice light soft loaf but it always comes out really heavy and more like a cake than a bread! That's following the instructions too!

Has anyone else tried using a different corny lid than the one it had on it? i tried with all my lids and only one seals well first time without the need for too much Co2! i cant remember which lids went with which keg except the one with the s30 valve on it!!

well FG was 1006 so it fermented better than i thought - had a sip and its not too shabby so far! its gonna get kegged tomorrow :)
