Hi There
I've just may have messed up my lager. During the boil phase I forgot the Irish moss. So what is now best, cold crash the lager after fermentation and put the Gelatine in the primary, or add the Gelatine to the keg?
Please advise
Well guys I think I'm going to try phosphoric acid first as you can't taste it over 450ppm unlike latic acid and long term but a RO filter. Any suggestions. Ps. Thanks to everyone you have been great help.

Hi There,
Has anyone used the grainfather reduced pipe work? Can it only achieve 10ltrs of wert? I’m worried about losses that I may end up with only 8ltrs.
I have 12ltr corny kegs. So should I use standard pipe work and do 13 to 15ltrs and factor In losses?
Please help M
Thanks for your thoughts,
I might stick to using corny kegs to lager and put a few pounds of CO2 on top and vent any O2 left inside. If I do lager again in the glass carboy, I’m setting up a CO2 nozzle and fill the void at the top before closing the valve and putting in the freezer to lager...
