hi everyone

can anyone suggest a good grain bag?
a link would be good too.
Im only brewing with a 12litre pot but want to use the 500g of Maris otter up along with 100g of torrefied wheat.

I do have some muslins but not sure they handle this much grain

links would be good

cheers

Same here, also using a 12L pot for 2kg mashes, those bags are great - not worth trying to make one.

And I find 10-12L AG brews a nice volume, especially if you're experimenting.

Totally agree, i've done 4 BiaB AG brews now and they have all worked well, I like doing between 10 and 12 lts and as you say, that way you can try different recipe's.........

cheers guys, i ordered the same one through ebay as it already had my details. £7.99 via Biggerjugs (who do it for 6.99, but postage prob would have made it same)

does anyone else cold steep specialty grains to save space in the bag or do you all put it all in the bag?

..ps i thoguht the carriage was a bit steep from homebrew shop made it around £9.50, but i know they use a 1st class service but im ok till weekend
