I see lots and lots of references to using Lowictz syrups in TCs etc, but so far havent found any actual recipe for a cherry wine using it,

I want to put on a 1gal cherry wine using Lowictz syrup, has anyone got a working recipe?

I'd be interested in this also having done many lowitz ciders before.
I reckon 1ltr red grape juice and a bottle of lowitz to make a gallon and add sugar to make around 1000g totals should get you approx 12%.

well I finally found this thread from way back in '13 https://www.thehomebrewforum.co.uk/threads/cherry-polish-syrup-wine.30636/

but there doesnt seem to be a follow up on how it was once bottled, and im having a bit of trouble fathoming out exactly what his final recipe was! But it looks like around half a bottle of syrup, although he uses much more grape juice than I was planning.

I might try 2L red grape juice, 1/2bottle lowicz cherry syrup, plus sugar up to 1200g total.

Bottle is 400ml not the 440ml it seems they used to be, but at £1.19 from one of my local Polish shops its a decent price (my town has lots of Polish shops as we have a large Polish community)
