Hi all. I'm planning on doing a hobgoblin clone in the very near future and was looking at splitting the 30 pint batch, half bottled and half into a King keg. Can anyone let me know how much sugar needs to go into the keg for about 15 pints. Do I still use the same ratio of sugar per pint as I would for bottling or a lesser amount for the keg?

I generally use less for a keg, I prime to about 1.5 to 2 volumes for ale and top up the co2 as the beer goes

I use the Calculator at the top of this page.

The KK has an overpressure device so it's pointless looking for a much higher pressure than that achieved by the sugar recommended for 1.5 to 2 volumes; as recommended in the Post above.

I keep it simple. 100 - 120g depending on batch size.
For 30 pints I'd personally aim towards 100g.
