Need some help please. I have a king keg and have just started using the larger hambleton bard s30 gas cylinder. But after I have dispensed some gas and remove the cylinders I notice black in the s30 valve on the keg. It appears to be the rubber from the small o ring. I have replaced it three times but still happens. What am I doing wrong?

I ve tried lubrication but still happening.

Your image doesn't show any black deposits.
If the O rings appear to be substantially intact with no significant breakdown, everything works as it should in terms of CO2 injection and you have lubed up as dutto suggested, I wouldn't worry about it.

Hi, yes as mentioned I ve tried lube. I ve zoomed in, this is what I mean.

Isn't that where the cylinder pin tightens down onto the valve? If there are two dissimilar metals grinding away at one another when you tighten the cylinder pin down onto the valve face, the hardest metal will very slightly erode the other metal.
As I said if it works I wouldn't worry about it.
