Hi ,
im doing a BITSA brew. bitsa this and bitsa that to use up my spares. can you offer me any suggestions for the hops ? i want to use up every thing!!! what orders ? and dry hopping . Put them all in is not the answer im looking for but , times and amounts to it will really help. their will be beer reward for the suggestion that works

US-05 Yeast

Looks a bit shy on base malts and even using all 3 you only have 2.05 kg which isn't going to go very far unless you make a 15L batch of something 4% ish. You've got enough speciality malts there for several brews so getting more base malt would probably see you good for a while.

With that mix of hops and speciality malts you could make various IPAs (not my area of expertise) and the Challenger and Goldings allows for English bitters, Scottish ales, an amber/brown ale or a porter, could even go for a pseudo California Common with the Northern Brewer. Might need something other than US-05

I have a Grainfather account, so I could see your suggested recipe. I understand your concept of trying to use up evrything in one go, but your grain bill has ten different grains, very few of which have high diastatic power (ability to convert starch into fermentable sugars) so you might not get a good conversion efficiency and fall short of target OG. It might not be a problem as crystal malts don't need conversion, but I would still be tempted to simplify it slightly.

As for the hops, personally I try to avoid mixing UK and US varieties. I would either go for US style, with Columbus for bittering and Centennial, Mosaic & Chinook as aroma and dry hops, or a British style with Northdown or Challenger for bittering and Goldings and possibly more Challenger for flavour/aroma.

I find this software very good for tweaking the colour, ABV, IBU's and BU:GU ratio. It depends on your taste, how bitter you like your beer. I know you're not intending to brew the recipe as it stands, but 634 IBU's would make your eyes water.
