ID'ed for buying non alcholic beer!

I know its a dirty word, but had to laugh yesterday. Buying a 6 pack of becks blue, and having to give ID to the cashier for the NA beer! What next, ID for buying Bass Shandy in a can? Oh and sorry for the absence, been mega busy at work!

    Non Alcoholic lager and homebrewing?

OK, I know this isn't the words that everyone needs to hear, but due to a shift in my health and new medication I have been told I need to drop my units per week to less than 10. This is due to the medication I need to take (forever more! bit depressing for a young 30 something but oh well!)...

    1st batch bottled...its started

Thanks Berk. This is my tester bottle. I have the theory if I have 1 clear glass bottle per batch I can see how it is getting on, something I couldn't do if it was a brown bottle.

    Solar panels.

if you are thinking about them, check your insurence. Many companys wont cover them, or roof damage as they are extra load on the house that shouldnt really be there.

Trial Jar and Woodford Wherry questions

so silly question How do you do the 'prime' without the 2nd bucket...? Both my FV has brews in them this weekend so the 1st batch (at least) must be done in bottles or in the FV. Can I simply add a spoon full of sugar to the bottles and top up with my home brew kit?
