    Its been 5 days and it seems to have finished the primary. Fg is 1.010. Will test again in a couple if days to be sure. I tasted the trial and as expected its very thin but also very very smooth with a nutty after kick! Not Very strong but from what ive read, aging us the key to this one!

    Using crushed malt to add to kits?

    Hi all Im ready to start tinkering with my kits. My question is what do i need to do in order to add flavour to my brews using malt? Ive read to steep 100g of crushed malt at 60-70c then strain and boil and add to the FV. Does that sound about right? Also wtf do i do with hop pellets...

    Just started one of these with 1kg of brewing sugar and about 200g of golden syrup. Starting OG is 1.054. Fingers crossed! Ive read the reviews in this kit so im hoping for my second brew its asmuch if a success as my wherry! Hope i havent messed it up with the syrup!

    Right its bottled after 2 weeks with half teaspoon of sugar for carbonation. The finished gravity was 1.012. Im on my phone so cant workout the abv it was og 1.046. Anyone??
