    Hi Got a wilkos apple cider on the go and a brown cider barrel. On the Rocks Pear cider in king keg, and was good last year. This is the type of barrel Has this cap Has any one fitted this cap? co2. And is it worth it ta? Andy

    Thomas Coopers Brewmaster Irish Stout

    Stout been in FV ten days now, last 3 at 1016.. is it too high for kegging? Was an active ferment for 3 days. Steady 21c temp.

    got this in FV waiting to keg, but lost the instuctions :oops: followed it so far (500 grms DME, 300 grms sugar) OG 1040 now at 1016 but need to know how much sugar for priming in keg? TIA andy

    from 18c to 24c but will be getting a piece of carpet to put on shelf and some insulation to put on door and walls

    Right i have found some where to store brew whilst fermenting but it is in the boiler cupboard in my kitchen with very small ventilation hole ( 4 inch sq mesh covering) But could i use a barrel like this to stop anything tainting my brew? it does say beer and wine lol

    edited lol just says brewing yeast on labels was thinking of preparing it in kitchen them moving it upstairs after and once primary fermentation has finished i could move it to bottle it?
