    Took it out of bucket straight away into to demi that's when I took reading, suppose I'll have to cross my fingers and hope!

    I'm making a kiwi & strawberry wine and started in bucket as usual with all the fruit, in the recipe said to leave in the bucket a week checked it last night after 5 days and its fully fermented out! Is there a chance it will of oxidised?

    Testing Yeast

    I think you've hit the nail on the head, I never pitch before the must is at room temp. With some wines I make a starter to give the yeasties a head start, especially do this when making Skeeter as pitching straight in they have no chance.

    Degassing my magnum wine kit

    I use both methods, first with whizz stick which gets most of it out and then I put a wine saver cork in which fits just nicely and pump it over couple of days until there is no bubbles at all :)

    Hi & Welcome Can make home brewing as cheap as you want, by using a 5lt water bottle with a hole drilled in lid for airlock instead of a demi, most other things found in kitchen can be used.

    Hang on a minute here! My other half I ask same question and get its alright, now how am I meant to take that, is it nice or not? Now with clothing I know when he thinks something looks good without asking, his eyes glows and his hands are all over! You men can be just as bad!
