Good afternoon all!

Well im Nick, 22 and from south wales

Well just to start really, Never done anything before and im currently in the middle of searching the web to purchase my first ever homebrew kit.

I don't want anything expensive just yet, Just a little something to practice and hopefully make a few nice bottles of wine :thumb:

Any advice wont be greatly appreciated!

Hi & Welcome
Can make home brewing as cheap as you want, by using a 5lt water bottle with a hole drilled in lid for airlock instead of a demi, most other things found in kitchen can be used.

Thanks for the welcome lads,

My beginner kit should be arriving tomorrow as I paid extra for 24hour delivery as I want it now lol !!

The kit I bought consist of the following ;

•1 x 25 litre Fermenting Bin with lid, tap and grommet fitted to take airlock
•1 x 25 litre Fermenting Bin with lid
•1 x Syphon with U bend and tap (long version for ease of use)
•1 x 6 Chamber Bubbler Airlock
•1 x Bung to fit Demi John (with hole to take Airlock)
•1 x Brewing Spoon (18"),
•1 x Hydrometer for Wine & Beer with Trial Jar,
•1 x Food Grade Plastic Jug,
•1 x Food Grade Plastic Funnel,
•1 x 100g VWP Cleanser / Sterilizer

And I also bought an extra 2 5 ltr demi johns with cap & air locks.

I might go down to Tesco to buy one of them 7 day wine kits just to have a go before work tomorrow lol!
