    Best UK export

    well, I'm probabaly kicking a hornets nest, but I'd like to know what you Brewers consider the best or better UK exports here to the USA. I have tryed samual smith, guiniss, harp, Newcastle and perhaps other. I'm interested in bitters, pales and stouts. No sours or lagers please

    McEwans scotch ale

    I've had this a few times. First bottles were approved by the queen. A couple years later the label did not have the approval . I can not remember if there was a difference but do remember it was a fine brew. Anyone have a good recipe?

    Base malt preference

    I like using UK malts for many of my beers. For base malt, currently, Simpson marris otter is my go to for RIS,Burton Ale and others. Do you brewers have other preferred UK base malts for UK type brews?
