You're going to get double the bitterness anyway..... Done this before with a variety of kits formats (Coopers, Wilko etc).... all turned out way too bitter for my palate but each to their own!! It probably tasted ok due to the residual sugars at the time the sample was taken - yes I know not...

Re the juice extraction, I have heard of/seen on PooTube/thought about, using an old standalone spin dryer to centrifuge the juice out.... Not sure how successful it would be but from the viewings, it seems that it could be viable..... Just a thought!!

Thanks guys but I thought that most cereals contained salt during their production process.... I know it's only a miniscule amount but the thought of salt in my beer makes me a little uneasy..... :nah:

Popped into a LHBS as I was passing on the way back from a job to the workshop and asked if they had any torrified wheat as I couldn't see any on display.... "No" came back the answer with the additional "Hold on, I'll just ask for you".... "Use Frosties"....(other cereals are available!!!)...
