    converting coke fridge

I have a double fronted coca cola fridge which I intend to convert to kegerator one side and bottle storage on the other. Inside the actual cold compartment is a fluorescent tube and I was wondering if I could somehow wire the heat tube direct to the supply of the light and utilise the stc into it.
