    What are member's opinions on using yeast nutrient in the late stages of the boil? Personally, I've never used it nor have I ever used a yeast starter, I've not had a problem with fermentation struggles. I just sometimes wonder if it might increase things like flocculation or even perhaps...

    New member saying hello...

    New member from Scotland, been brewing for 30 years...ish from the old Boots Tom Caxton kits to all grain these days. I'm no expert (except in disasters) and my equipment is all Heath Robinson but still churns out decent beer. Look forward to contributing.
