Hi - just finished my 2nd wurzel's and got my demijohn's mixed up... I put the juice and bentonite for a 6-bottle Beaverdale Chardonnay in the, freshly rinsed with nothing but a quick swirl of cold water, old used Wurzel's demijohn!!

I haven't put any yeast in the mix yet. Will my Beaverdale be ruined already or is there anything I can do to salvage what is left?

Thanks Peeps :(

You will probably be okay, but get the yeast in ASAP as that will help the spread of any other yeast in there. While it is best to sanitise, you have already put the juice in, so it's too late to tip it out, sanitise and put back in. The extra movement leaves more chance to get contaminates in. Keep your fingers crossed, as it's not necessarily the end of the world.
