Anyone else suffer this problem?

I put an 8g bulb in the holder, screw it down onto the adapter but before it engages and ejects the gas into the barrel it just fizzes off into the atmosphere, making the outside of the bulb very cold in the process! Am I doing something wrong? Faulty bulbs? Faulty barrel?

Thanks for any help :-?

I had the same problem with some of mine,it was hit & miss sometimes,so I started to put a small amount of Vaseline around the top rim of the brass co2 adapter in the lid of the keg,& it seems to seal the co2 bulb & stops any gas coming out, give it ago it may work for u.

I had the same problem. Someone else on this forum advised me to stuff some cardboard into the plastic holder to make the metal canister fit a bit more tightly. This improved things slightly.
