10th Anniversary of Runcorn Brewery 1974-1984 Ale
Yes it's 26yrs old  Yes I opened one :? Was a 90% chance it would be undrinkable :hmm:
But It was drinkable
It's condition was still there not massively but enough to give a litlle carbonation and thin lacing of a head.
Copper coloured ale, unknown gravity or ABV. Pleasant to drink with a dry finish.
Now I know I have 5 good bottles of ale left to open on very very special occasions
Oh and next time I will be harvesting the yeast and going very gentle with them, as they've not shagged for 26 yrs!
