I'm looking to replace my two handed capper with a bench type. Does anyone have a recommendation, there seems plenty around both new and old, so alot of choice.
cheers

I've only noticed two basic designs when Googling, the Agata and the Colt. I have the Colt type, seems fine. The way the gubbins attaches to the pillar on the Agata /may/ be technically better, but the quality of the overall engineering probably matters more than the design difference.

I made one of these for my bench drill. Fits in a standard 13mm chuck . Magnet holds the cap, twiddle the handle and your away.

That is a thing of beauty! :thumb:

one suggestion though:

replace that brick with a piece of 4x4 and maybe place a couple of layers of silicone baking sheet on top. I'd be worried about stressing the bottle.

Nice work!!
