Best beer for a cold? I've got a summer cold and I'm fed up! What brew to banish the germs??

id go with a beer that contains alcohol!!!!! the more the better followed by a spirit chaser!!!
however on a more theraputic remedy try this

1 part brandy
1 part lemon juice
1 part honey
some mint leaves
topped up with hot water

now i also put in soluble paracetamol however im not recommending that here as you are drinking alcohol!!!

Guinness is renowned for its "medicinal properties" or you could go with Chinacat's recipe and just leave out the lemon juice, honey, mint leaves and water :twisted:

Something with a lot of Hops. I think it has anti septic or bacterial qualities.
