Haha, I totally agree.

Never had to get a bottle pressure tested and re-certified. Never could not have a beer because I ran out of CO2. Never lost a batch in the keezer because a seal failed.

Bottles are the model for simplicity. Bottle, cap, done.

I prime adding the required amount of table sugar to the bottle then filling. One less chance to oxidize the beer as I don't have to rack it into another bucket to prime it. Don't give me grief about infection, hasn't happend yet and I've been at this a LONG time.
 
First is the shape of the bottles which makes them a pain to clean - they're slow to fill with water, slow to empty out, don't drain upside down without precariously balancing on a bottle tree

Are you aware of a bottle draining sytem called FastRack as an alternative to the bottle trees? I haven't used them but they look quite well designed
