For this brewday I was joined by Muddydisco and Corby Brewer.

Pale malt â 6.5 lbs
Crystal malt â 0.5 lbs
Flaked maize â 0.5 lbs
Demerara sugar â 1 lb
Goldings â 1.4 oz
Brambling Cross â 0.7 oz (at 75 mins with 2 tsps Irish moss)
Brew lenght - 5 gals
In the HLT
1 tsp gypsum
0.5 tsp Epsom
0.25 tsp Chalk
Yeast culture from a pint of Bass
Mash Tun floating in remaining Strike water held at 150 degs for 90 mins by mechanacal thermostat.
Twin element 60 ltr boiler with hop filter in place
Filling Sparge header tank with 150 deg water from HLT and boiling water, end result 174 deg
First runnings before sparge returned to sparge tun. Sparge hose can be seen by my head.
