Hi guys and gals, been a while since I've posted on the forum.
In a bid to up my fermentation control, I've just acquired an ftss chiller coil for my brew bucket and was mulling over where to mount it.
I occasionally do smaller batches of beer and have read in different places that a top mounted coil isn't very efficient when dealing with anything less than 15 ltrs due to it not being completely immersed.
I know there are extensions, but being a bit of a miser and the lack of stock any where in the UK at the moment, am really considering mounting the coil on the side of the bucket.
Does anybody have any thoughts or experience with this?
